{"product_id":"p1517","title":"Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This is a Bizen sake cup by the Bizen treasure, Takeshi Kaneshige, whose grandfather was a Living National Treasure and whose father was an Intangible Cultural Property holder. The form is reminiscent of the bamboo-node lid rests often made by his father, Michiaki Kaneshige. It features a spatula-marked ring around the waist and dynamic vertical spatula marks, making the design strongly evocative of a bamboo node. The kiln transformation gives it a appearance like flushed cheeks, and combined with the matte, textured surface, it promises to develop a beautiful patina through use.\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san style)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.3cm × Diameter 6.2cm × Height 5.7cm\n\nTakeshi Kaneshige was born as the second son of Intangible Cultural Property holder Michiaki Kaneshige.
