{"product_id":"p1586","title":"Bizen Hai-kaburi Sake Bottle","description":"This is an exquisite new Bizen ash-glazed sake flask by Yoshinobu Morimoto, an artist with a superior aesthetic sense who is constantly evolving in his approach to clay, firing, and craftsmanship. It is a rare piece featuring a superlative ash glaze, distinguished by a striking, fully carbonized coating that resembles a black cloak. Beneath this dark mantle, the piece is adorned with golden \"sesame\" (goma) markings, with some sections showing a bluish kiln-transmutation (yohen). The clay body, finally revealed from beneath layers of flame-forged formal attire, has taken on the rich hue of bitter chocolate, while the yellow sesame glaze creates linear, dripping patterns that resemble geometric designs. This piece is a testament to Yoshinobu Morimoto’s obsessive devotion to the kiln, as he crafts magnificent, ceremonial attire out of flame and ash, much like a master couturier.\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san)\u003cbr\u003e\nRim 4.0cm x Body 9.9cm x Body 9.3cm x Height 15.3cm Capacity: approx. 500ml\n\nYoshinobu Morimoto was born in Okayama Prefecture in 1976.
