{"product_id":"p1628","title":"Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This is a new Bizen sake cup by Koichiro Isezaki, who was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and is breathing new life into the world of Bizen ware with his exceptional sense and skillful sculpting ability. This firing reached a remarkably high temperature, resulting in an impressive, deepened whiteness in the *goma* (ash glaze). The *goma*, which covers nearly seventy percent of the exterior, is whiter than standard *goma* and creates a very soft impression. The *mikomi* (interior base) is also filled with a generous spread of *goma*, creating a composition as if the cup had scooped up the brightly glowing firewood itself.\n\nSigned wooden box to follow at a later date (please allow some time for shipping).\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.9cm × Diameter 7.4cm × Height 6.5cm\n\nKoichiro Isezaki was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki. The Isezaki family is a prestigious name in Bizen ware; his grandfather was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Yozan Isezaki, and his uncle was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Mitsuru Isezaki, and he himself aspired to pottery from an early age. After graduating from the Sculpture Department at Tokyo Zokei University in 1994, he studied abroad in the United States. He studied pottery for approximately two years under Jeff Shapiro, a potter based in New York City, which greatly broadened his perspective on art and ceramics. After returning to Japan in 2000, he trained under the guidance of his father alongside his father's apprentices. In 2002, he submitted work to the Tanabe Museum of Art Tea Ceremony Exhibition for the first time, where it was selected.","brand":"伊勢崎晃一朗","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618370801761,"sku":"1628","price":14000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/1628.jpg?v=1790235480","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p1628","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
