{"product_id":"p1730","title":"Oribe sake cup","description":"This is an Oribe sake cup created by Yoshinobu Morimoto, an artist with a superb aesthetic sense who continues to evolve in his work with clay, firing, and technique. It is a refreshing piece featuring a rich green Oribe glaze applied over the light, slightly orange-toned Shigaraki clay. The cup is shaped in the *umadara* (horse-trough) style, which is a signature of Morimoto’s; the wide interior allows for full appreciation of the contrast between the Oribe glaze and the clay. It is a magnificent Oribe piece that reflects the dedication of a true purist, possessing a high quality that stands equal to any work from Bizen or Inbe.\n\nOriginal signed box to follow (please allow some time for shipping).\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 8.4cm × Diameter 8.2cm × Height 3.5cm\n\nYoshinobu Morimoto was born in Okayama Prefecture in 1976.
