{"product_id":"p1738","title":"Bizen sake cup","description":"This Bizen sake cup is by Koichiro Isezaki, who, born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki, is breathing new life into the world of Bizen ware with his exceptional sense and masterful sculpting ability. Fired at a higher temperature than conventional methods, it features a whiter finish that further emphasizes the seashell markings and the scarlet hue of the clay. Its highly sophisticated form is perhaps best described as an objet d'art that can also be used to enjoy sake. It would also make an interesting display piece or small vase.\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san style)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.9cm x Diameter 7.6cm x Height 6.8cm\n\nKoichiro Isezaki was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki. The Isezaki family is a prestigious name in Bizen ware; his grandfather was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Yozan Isezaki, and his uncle was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Mitsuru Isezaki. Koichiro aspired to become a ceramic artist from an early age. After graduating from the Tokyo Zokei University Department of Sculpture in 1994, he studied abroad in the United States. He trained for two years under New York-based ceramic artist Jeff Shapiro, significantly broadening his perspective on art and ceramics. Since returning to Japan in 2000, he has worked hard at his craft under the guidance of his father, alongside his father’s other students. In 2002, he submitted work to the Tanabe Museum of Art’s Tea Ceremony Exhibition, where it was selected for the first time.","brand":"伊勢崎晃一朗","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618383614049,"sku":"1738","price":14000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/1738.jpg?v=1790235598","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p1738","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
