{"product_id":"p1832","title":"Hidasuki sake bottle","description":"This is a Hidasuki (fire-cord) gourd-shaped sake flask by Tamon Kaneshige, who continues to hone his craft on the demanding path of pottery, following in the footsteps of his father, the late Susumu Kaneshige. It features a coarse surface texture crafted from clay with a slightly sandy composition, highlighted by a subdued, dark-toned Hidasuki pattern and the appearance of tiny white sand grains. After throwing the vessel on the wheel, he pressed his fingers against the shoulder and rotated it around the circumference, creating a wonderfully whimsical expression on the neck. While the technique appears soft and spontaneous, it is a testament to the exquisite precision with which he shapes the wet, pliable clay.\n\nOriginal signed wooden box (two-way crossbar construction)\u003cbr\u003e\nMouth rim 3.0cm × Body diameter 9.5cm × Body diameter 9.3cm × Height 12.0cm　Capacity approx. 240cc\n\nTamon Kaneshige was born in Okayama City in 1977.
