{"product_id":"p1862","title":"Bizen square plate","description":"This new Bizen square plate is the work of Koichiro Isezaki, who was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and who is breathing new life into the world of Bizen ware with his exceptional sense and masterful modeling skills. The vertical line patterns that emphasize the uneven surface pair perfectly with the dynamic *goma* (sesame-like ash glaze) scenery characteristic of an anagama kiln. The color tone, neither too subdued nor too flashy, will enhance the colors of dishes and ingredients, enlivening the table without being overly assertive. The piece is thick and has a strong presence, and above all, its substantial construction makes it both sturdy and easy to use.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 19.1cm x Diameter 18.4cm x Height 3.8cm\n\nKoichiro Isezaki was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki. The Isezaki family is a prestigious lineage in Bizen ware; his grandfather was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Yozan Isezaki, and his uncle was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Mitsuru Isezaki. Koichiro aspired to pottery from an early age. After graduating from the Department of Sculpture at Tokyo Zokei University in 1994, he studied abroad in the United States. He learned pottery for about two years under Jeff Shapiro, a ceramic artist living in New York City, which greatly broadened his perspective on art and pottery. After returning to Japan in 2000, he worked hard at his training under his father's guidance alongside his fellow apprentices. In 2002, he submitted work to the Tanabe Museum of Art’s Tea Ceremony Exhibition for the first time and was selected.","brand":"伊勢崎晃一朗","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618401341537,"sku":"1862","price":10000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/1862.jpg?v=1790235771","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p1862","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
