p1926
Bizen Sake Cup
This new sake cup is the work of Tsuyoshi Kaneshige, marking a new milestone following the construction of his anagama kiln in Kukui. It is a sake cup that allows you to fully enjoy the charm of the rustic, earthy flavor characteristic of Bizen ware. Its quiet and gentle form, reminiscent of his father, Michiaki, fits perfectly in the hand when held. With an honest, natural atmosphere that avoids artifice, the cup seems to reflect the artist’s own personality, offering the warmth one expects from earthenware.

Interview with Tsuyoshi Kaneshige

Signed wooden box to be provided later (please note that shipping will take some time).
Diameter 6.9cm x 6.8cm x Height 5.3cm

Tsuyoshi Kaneshige was born as the second son of Intangible Cultural Property holder Michiaki Kaneshige and is the grandson of the great Living National Treasure, Toyo Kaneshige.
