p2001
Bizen rice bowl
This rice bowl features a rustic charm characteristic of earthenware, crafted using mountain clay from Yoshiteru Kouriki, a popular young artist who was an apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. Its appeal lies in its coarse, pebble-rich texture and sophisticated fired finish. As you use it daily, the earthen character will deepen and the texture will become smoother over time. Its large size also makes it a great choice for whisking and enjoying matcha. Bizen rice bowls are well-regarded for being easy to use as rice grains do not stick to them easily, making them a perfect gift.

Paper box
Diameter 14.1cm x Diameter 14.0cm x Height 6.9cm

About Gift Wrapping

Yoshiteru Kouriki was born in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture.
