{"product_id":"p2009","title":"Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This is a Bizen sake cup by Koichiro Isezaki, who was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and who breathes new life into the Bizen ware world with his exceptional sense and masterful sculptural skills. With its extremely well-balanced arrangement of sesame glaze, amber-colored clay body, nuke (unaffected areas), and hidasuki (fire-cord) markings, this piece serves as a textbook example of an anagama kiln firing. The vivid hidasuki, featuring a mix of thick and thin lines, appears at times like lightning and at others like the branches of a great tree. The carved-out design, created by energetically scraping out the clay from the interior, ensures that the user never tires of holding it.\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san style)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.9cm x Diameter 7.6cm x Height 6.9cm\n\nKoichiro Isezaki was born as the eldest son of the Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki. The Isezaki family is a prestigious name in Bizen ware; his grandfather was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Yozan Isezaki, and his uncle was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Mitsuru Isezaki, which led him to aspire to become a potter from an early age. After graduating from the Department of Sculpture at Tokyo Zokei University in 1994, he studied abroad in the United States. He learned pottery for approximately two years under Jeff Shapiro, a potter based in New York City, which greatly broadened his perspective on art and ceramics. Upon returning to Japan in 2000, he trained under the guidance of his father and his father's pupils. In 2002, he exhibited for the first time at the Tanabe Museum of Art’s Tea Ceremony Exhibition, where his work was selected.","brand":"伊勢崎晃一朗","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618425426017,"sku":"2009","price":14000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/2009.jpg?v=1790235988","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p2009","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
