{"product_id":"p2052","title":"Blue Bizen-ware sake cup with white clay pattern","description":"This is a blue Bizen *shiradei-mon* (white slip patterned) square *guinomi* (sake cup) by Miki Suzuki, the eldest son of the veteran ceramic artist Koichi Suzuki, whose unique and elegant works continue to enchant pottery enthusiasts. The white slip patterns, impressed by hand one by one, harmonize brilliantly with the blue-gray surface of the blue Bizen ware. The highly intricate and elaborate design, which speaks to Miki Suzuki’s deep love for ceramics, boasts a level of perfection truly worthy of being called an exquisite sake cup. The black *tasuki* (cord-like markings), which pair with the white slip patterns, are also magnificent, constructing a world all their own.
