{"product_id":"p2147","title":"Bizen guinomi","description":"This is a Bizen sake cup by Takashi Baba, an artist born in Imbe who has loved Bizen ware since childhood and finds his life's joy in creating works and firing kilns. This piece features a dynamic \"haikaburi\" (ash-covered) aesthetic, as if it were a chunk of cold lava forcibly cut from the earth. The thick coating of ash has crystallized into shades of gray, pairing with the dark brown accents to create a magnificent composition. The bold, rugged form, which complements the intense firing, is another highlight of this piece.\n\nSigned wooden box (double-slat lid)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.6cm × 6.3cm × Height 6.2cm\n\nTakashi Baba was born in 1983 as the eldest son of Bizen ware artist Shosuke Baba.
