{"product_id":"p2350","title":"Kuro-uchi text plate","description":"This is a black *uchimon* (beaten pattern) dish by Koichiro Isezaki, who was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and who breathes new life into the world of Bizen ware with his exceptional sense and masterful modeling skills. This black dish is from the *uchimon* series that Koichiro-sensei has been focusing on frequently of late. At last year's Japan Traditional Kogei Chugoku Branch Exhibition, he submitted and won an award for a long plate featuring *uchimon* on both sides, just like this one. It is typical of Koichiro-sensei that the *uchimon* design accentuates the sharp texture of the black, allowing the piece to subtly shine with individuality, even within the context of tableware where usability is paramount. In the coming season, serving colorful summer vegetables will surely make the colors of the ingredients stand out even more.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 19.5cm x 19.4cm x Height 4.2cm\n\nKoichiro Isezaki was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki. The Isezaki family is a prestigious name in Bizen ware; his grandfather was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Yozan Isezaki, and his uncle was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Mitsuru Isezaki. Koichiro aspired to become a ceramic artist from an early age. After graduating from the Department of Sculpture at Tokyo Zokei University in 1994, he studied abroad in the United States. He studied pottery for about two years under Jeff Shapiro, a ceramic artist living in New York City, which greatly broadened his perspective on art and pottery. After returning to Japan in 2000, he worked hard on his training under the guidance of his father, alongside his father's other disciples. In 2002, he submitted a work to the Tanabe Museum of Art Tea Ceremony Exhibition for the first time and was selected.","brand":"伊勢崎晃一朗","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618439778401,"sku":"2350","price":14000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/2350.jpg?v=1790236318","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p2350","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
