{"product_id":"p2490","title":"7-sun Rinka (scalloped) bowl","description":"This 7-sun (approx. 21cm) flower-shaped bowl is the work of Kazuhiro Mori, an artist who has spent his life following in the footsteps of his father, striving to recreate the powerful beauty of ancient Bizen ware through large-kiln firing. It is a new style of flower-shaped plate that uses plaster molding to create a depression with flowing curves that evoke the form of a flower. The chocolate-colored surface is achieved through the fine ash covering created by the massive kiln characteristic of the Mori family. The beautiful circular \"nuke\" (uncovered area), as if cut out with a compass, pairs perfectly with the swift, lightning-like \"hidasuki\" markings.\n\nNo box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 21.1cm x 20.7cm x Height 4.5cm\n\nKazuhiro Mori was born as the eldest son of Togaku Mori.
