{"product_id":"p2519","title":"Black square plate","description":"This black square plate is the work of Masao Akitani, an artist who studied under Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and creates works brimming with unique originality amidst a new spirit. While the square plate itself features a relatively orthodox style, the addition of linear patterns in two directions magically transforms its impression entirely. I believe the evenly spaced lines masterfully control the reflection of light and the movement of one’s gaze when viewing the piece. The stylish black slip is also superb, and the combination of black with orange and scarlet scenery makes it suitable for use as a decorative plate.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 23.8cm × 23.7cm × Height 3.5cm\n\nMasao Akitani was born in Saitama in 1968.
