{"product_id":"p2573","title":"Bizen Hidasuki Sake Bottle","description":"This is a new Bizen hidasuki sake flask by Yoshinobu Morimoto, an artist with an exceptional aesthetic sense who continues to evolve in his handling of clay, firing, and craftsmanship. Fired slowly in a section of the kiln with strong reduction, the piece features a moist, earthy texture in an azuki-bean color bordering on fox-brown, accented by rich, viscous hidasuki markings. Its creamy surface, reminiscent of old Bizen ware, seems to retain a subtle moisture even when dry, and it is exciting to imagine how it will season and improve as it is used to serve sake over time. This piece belongs to a series smaller than his previous works, a refined size that perfectly complements the elegant hidasuki pattern.\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san) included\u003cbr\u003e\nRim 3.7cm × Body diameter 8.4cm × Body diameter 8.4cm × Height 13.2cm Capacity approx. 320cc\n\nYoshinobu Morimoto was born in Okayama Prefecture in 1976.
