{"product_id":"p2585","title":"Bizen-ware Ryumon Small Tokkuri (Sake Bottle)","description":"This is a Bizen ware *ryumon* (flowing pattern) small tokkuri sake bottle by Takashi Baba, an artist born in Imbe who has loved Bizen ware since childhood and finds his life's joy in creating works and firing kilns. It is an impressive piece featuring a unique design from the \"Ryumon\" series, brought to life by his exceptional sense of artistry. This particular *ryumon* pattern begins from three points, with the flowing lines intersecting like ripples across the surface of water. The work creates a curious illusion, as if the vessel were truly a water surface into which three stones have just been cast. Beyond its brilliant design, it is also exceptionally lightweight and crafted for ease of use. (Please note that while the entire piece features *haikaburi* (ash covering), there are some areas where it has peeled off.)\n\nSigned wooden box to be provided at a later date (please allow some time for shipment).\u003cbr\u003e\nMouth diameter 4.1cm x Body diameter 8.3cm x Body diameter 8.2cm x Height 12.5cm; Capacity approx. 250cc\n\nTakashi Baba was born in 1983 as the eldest son of Bizen ware artist Shosuke Baba.
