{"product_id":"p2607","title":"Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This is a Bizen sake cup by Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki, an artist who continues to lead the world of Bizen ware with a creativity that never fades. The thickly applied ash has transformed into the white, crusty \"kase-goma\" (ash glaze) characteristic of wood-fired climbing kilns. The two sharply defined \"nuke\" (uncovered areas) leave a deep impression, and the contrast with the intense firing adds depth to the piece. (*Please note that the intense firing has resulted in the fusion mark shown in photo 8. Additionally, the base is partially buried in ash glaze, which may affect its stability.)\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.7cm × Diameter 6.4cm × Height 6.9cm\n\nJun Isezaki was born the second son of Yozan Isezaki, a master of ceramic sculpture.
