{"product_id":"p2667","title":"Bizen sake bottle","description":"This is a new Bizen sake bottle by Tomio Ochi, who diligently worked at the kiln under the tutelage of Anjin Abe, pouring his still-unsatisfied aspirations into his pottery. The clay used here is a complete departure from his previous Ibe-style works, and his style has shifted accordingly to one that lets the clay speak for itself. The texture of the clay, which is coarse yet offers a wide range of variation, features a beautiful gradation from matte reddish-brown to a glossy dark brown. To keep the clay texture as the star of the firing, fine-grained sesame ash (goma) is concentrated on the shoulder, adding movement and dynamism while maintaining the profound gravity of the firing.\n\nSigned wooden box to be provided later (please allow some time for shipping)\u003cbr\u003e\nRim 4.2cm x Body Diameter 9.3cm x Body Diameter 9.3cm x Height 14.9cm; Capacity approx. 400cc\n\nTomio Ochi graduated from Niihama Technical High School in Ehime Prefecture in 1949.
