{"product_id":"p2675","title":"Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This Bizen guinomi (sake cup) is the work of Sosu Kaneshige, the eldest son of the master potter Sozan Kaneshige, a creator who captivates many with the harmony between delicate, elegant clay textures and powerful forms. This masterpiece features the strong, bluish-tinged \"kase-goma\" (matte ash glaze) characteristic of Sosu’s work throughout. The coarse clay body, containing a generous amount of stone particles, pairs perfectly with the rugged yet delicate kase-goma, seeming to condense the very essence of Bizen ware. The piece is full of highlights, including the ridge in the interior and the robust foot ring.\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.9cm × Diameter 6.5cm × Height 5.7cm\n\nSosu Kaneshige is the eldest son of the designated Intangible Cultural Property holder, Sozan Kaneshige. After graduating from the Faculty of Agriculture at Kyoto University, he began his path in pottery under his father in 1969, becoming independent in 1979. He primarily creates tea ceramics on the potter's wheel and is known for his deep, rich firing techniques. He strives to eliminate unnecessary decoration, focusing instead on channeling his soul directly into the clay. He rarely submits work to public exhibitions, preferring to focus his creative energy on solo exhibitions, which he holds vigorously every year at department stores in cities including Okayama, Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, and Kumamoto. In 1995, he held a solo exhibition in Munich, Germany, and in 1997, he exhibited at the Bizen Ware Paris Exhibition.","brand":"金重 愫","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618485653601,"sku":"2675","price":45000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/2675.jpg?v=1790236725","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p2675","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
