{"product_id":"p2685","title":"Bizen ware sake cup","description":"This is a Bizen sake cup from quite early in the career of Kosuke Kaneshige, the leader of the Kaneshige school and son of the legendary reviver of Bizen ware and Living National Treasure, Toyo Kaneshige. It features a magnificent scarlet hue that looks as if it has been flushed by sake, combined with a beautiful ash glaze, embodying the timeless essence of the Kaneshige style. The elegant scarlet, neither too red nor too dark, identifies it instantly as a work of the Kaneshige lineage. The wheel-thrown body is segmented in the middle, which, combined with the cylindrical form, creates an aesthetic reminiscent of a bamboo node. (Please note that while this is an early work, there are few signs of use.)\n\nOriginal signed wooden box (shiho-san)\u003c!--br--\u003e\nDiameter 6.7cm × Diameter 6.6cm × Height 6.3cm\n\nKosuke Kaneshige is the third son of Living National Treasure Toyo Kaneshige.
