{"product_id":"p2688","title":"Bizen sake bottle","description":"This Bizen sake bottle is by Sho Fujita, an artist who masters a wide range of artistic disciplines and fuses them together within himself to create his work. By combining coil-building with wheel-throwing, the piece is assembled with a subtle shift in its center of gravity, successfully adding a new depth to the simple, round body. The surface is refined with a spatula, creating fine flows and undulations that elevate the most fundamental form of a sphere into a work of high density, condensed with intricate points of interest. Though it features a \"katamigawari\" (split-body) contrast between dry, crusty *kase-goma* and ash-covered surfaces, both sides are fired to a fine-grained, gentle texture.\n\nSigned wooden box to follow (please allow some time for shipping).\u003cbr\u003e\nRim 3.9cm × Body diameter 10.3cm × 10.3cm × Height 14.1cm Capacity: approx. 520cc\n\nSho Fujita was born in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, in 1978.
