It is a work with a presence reminiscent of ancient Bizen, featuring a deep scarlet \"hidasuki\" (fire-cord) pattern on reddish-brown clay. It was thrown on a wheel over a bed of ash, and its sunken, pitted foot is highly characteristic. The interior features a three-tiered design that provides a sense of rhythmic movement.\n\nDealer's box (two-sided cross-bar) (no bookmark included)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 9.2cm x Diameter 8.5cm x Height 6.4cm\n\nMaster Ishii Furo was a holder of the Prefectural Important Intangible Cultural Property and was renowned as a master of tea ceramics and decorative ware.
