{"product_id":"p2704","title":"Bizen-yaki pouring vessel","description":"This is a Bizen katakuchi (sake pouring vessel) by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Koriki, an apprentice of the master Sozan Kaneshige. It is a vessel that is gaining popularity because it is easy to use and maintain, while also serving as an authentic piece of sake ware that elevates the atmosphere of any drinking occasion. Though it is a work meant for casual use, the quality is exceptional, featuring the refined, austere clay texture characteristic of Koriki, accented by an elegant \"goma\" (sesame) ash glaze. The body is decorated with horizontal spatula marks, followed by vertical ones that create distinct ridges, which, combined with the \"abata\" (pitted) foot, make for a highly impressive form.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 8.8cm × Diameter 7.8cm × Height 12.4cm\n\nYoshiteru Koriki was born in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture.
