{"product_id":"p2742","title":"Painted Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This is a painted Bizen sake cup by Yasuhito Abe, an artist who possesses profound insight and aesthetic sensibility regarding antique pottery, creating one-of-a-kind works through his unique research and firing techniques. It is a piece with many highlights, allowing you to enjoy two faces: one featuring Mount Fuji and the other featuring the five-three paulownia crest. On the Fuji side, the engraved depiction of the mountain takes center stage, while on the paulownia side, the yellow sesame glaze acts as the protagonist, with mist painted in a layered effect, creating a highly intriguing contrast. The gold accents used in parts shine as if floating, skillfully bridging the texture of the Bizen clay with the impact of the coloration.\n\nIncludes signed wooden box (double box with sliding lid).\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 8.3cm × Diameter 8.3cm × Height 8.8cm\n\nYasuhito Abe was originally a Western-style painter. He collected pottery as a hobby, but feeling dissatisfied with contemporary Bizen ware, he began ceramic art in 1972 to create pieces that satisfied his own standards. He frequently creates water jars, flower vases, flattened jars, bowls, sake bottles, and sake cups. All pieces are wheel-thrown and finished with a spatula. He centers his ceramic production on the antique Bizen ware of the Momoyama period and is meticulous about his firing techniques. Additionally, he engages in diverse creative activities, exhibiting mixed-media works that combine various materials and techniques such as ceramics, lacquer, oil painting, and bronze. He holds solo exhibitions energetically both in Japan and abroad, including in Tokyo, Osaka, New York, and Paris.","brand":"安倍安人","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618496270433,"sku":"2742","price":155000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/2742.jpg?v=1790236827","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p2742","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
