{"product_id":"p2866","title":"Bizen Hidasuki Sake Cup","description":"This is a Bizen *hidaski* (fire-cord) sake cup by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Koriki, a former apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. This piece showcases the vivid, living *hidaski* technique inherited from Sozan Kaneshige, the foremost authority on *hidaski* firing in an electric kiln. Both the color and texture are exceptional; the moist, tactile quality of the clay reveals shimmering black particles upon closer inspection, adding further depth to the soft, mugwort-colored earth. The unadorned, gentle style remains unassuming, allowing the *hidaski* markings and the quality of the clay to be enjoyed directly.\n\nOriginal signed box (shiho-san)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 8.9cm x 8.8cm x Height 4.5cm\n\nYoshiteru Koriki was born in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture.
