{"product_id":"p2926","title":"Bizen Yohen Sake Cup","description":"This is a Bizen yohen sake cup by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Koriki, a former apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. It is a work that was miraculously retrieved from an environment where multiple pieces had fused together due to an abundance of natural ash glaze. The cup is filled with magnificent scenery seen only in this piece, such as white glaze droplets solidified along with the white sand scattered in the kiln, and a surface that rises like volcanic rock. Holding this intense yohen, one is reminded anew that fire is a sacred thing that humans cannot touch. (*Please note in advance that there is heavy ash accumulation on the foot, which makes it slightly unstable.)\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.5cm × 6.5cm × Height 5.9cm\n\nYoshiteru Koriki was born in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture.
