{"product_id":"p3001","title":"Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This is a new Bizen sake cup by Koichiro Isezaki, who was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and has brought a fresh breeze to the Bizen pottery world through his exceptional sense and masterful sculpting ability. This hand-molded sake cup is from his new White series, created using pure white Ibe clay in its raw, research-proven state. The surface, which has fired to a white-gray color, is accented with a faintly shimmering champagne gold, creating a wonderfully mellow landscape. Although no glaze has been applied at all, the rim features a bluish-white cloudy \"goma\" (ash glaze) drip where the natural glaze has melted with the white clay, resembling the straw-ash glaze of Madara Karatsu ware. The interior of the cup is coated with a transparent ash glaze that has melted well into the champagne gold clay body, shining as if to celebrate the birth of the White series.\n\nSigned wooden box to follow (please allow some time for shipping)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 8.1cm x Diameter 8.0cm x Height 7.1cm\n\nKoichiro Isezaki was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki. The Isezaki family is a prestigious name in Bizen ware; his grandfather was the holder of Intangible Cultural Property Yozan Isezaki, and his uncle was the holder of Intangible Cultural Property Mitsuru Isezaki, and he himself aspired to become a potter from an early age. After graduating from the Department of Sculpture at Tokyo Zokei University in 1994, he studied abroad in the United States. He studied pottery for about two years under Jeff Shapiro, a potter living in New York City, which greatly broadened his perspective on art and ceramics. After returning to Japan in 2000, he worked hard on his training under his father's guidance alongside his father's students. In 2002, he submitted his work to the Tanabe Museum of Art Tea Ceremony Exhibition for the first time and was selected.","brand":"伊勢崎晃一朗","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618520289377,"sku":"3001","price":18000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/3001.jpg?v=1790237165","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p3001","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
