{"product_id":"p3029","title":"Bizen sake cup","description":"This is a Bizen sake cup by Michiaki Kaneshige, who was born as the eldest son of Toyo Kaneshige and captivated everyone with a style that infused his unique sensibilities into tradition. The firing is like a hybrid of *kase-goma* (dry sesame glaze) and *haikaburi* (ash-covered), resulting in a piece rich in the subtle variations characteristic of a climbing kiln. The interior has a slightly weathered appearance, primarily featuring gray *haikaburi*. True to Michiaki-sensei, who poured his heart and soul into the selection of clay, the *hiiro* (scarlet) on the front is a very refined shade—neither too bright nor too dark.\n\nSigned wooden box (with two-way lid) \u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.6cm x Diameter 6.5cm x Height 5.3cm\n\nMichiaki Kaneshige (1934–1995) was born in Inbe as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Toyo Kaneshige.
