{"product_id":"p3073","title":"Bizen small plate","description":"This is a new 4-sun Bizen plate by Yoshinobu Morimoto, an artist with an exceptional aesthetic sense who is constantly evolving in his approach to clay, firing, and craftsmanship. Focusing on \"coordination\"—a central theme in Mr. Morimoto's recent work—these plates were created to be enjoyed in combination with the sake vessels and other pieces he has released in the past. At just under 15 cm, this versatile plate is perfectly sized for use as an individual serving dish at a dinner party, a dessert plate, or for a wide variety of other purposes. The \"reduced hidaski\" (reduction-fired fire-cord) scenery, featuring a deep scarlet fire-cord pattern against the grey clay body to which Mr. Morimoto devotes much of his efforts, takes on an even more beautiful character if you soak the plate in water before use.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 13.3 cm x 13.3 cm x Height 2.5 cm\n\nYoshinobu Morimoto was born in Okayama Prefecture in 1976.
