{"product_id":"p3112","title":"Bizen tea cup","description":"This Bizen teacup is by Takashi Soga, an artist who challenges himself to create ancient beauty by recreating the environment in which Old Bizen pottery was fired. This piece was fired using a primitive kiln based solely on his own empirical knowledge, without the use of any machinery such as electric potter's wheels or thermometers. Its small, elegant form, shaped using the coiling technique, possesses a refined presence with a textural quality that evokes the evocative atmosphere of an antique Bizen jar. Every aspect of its clay-fired construction conveys the deliberate, unhurried care and meticulous attention poured into its creation.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.7cm x Diameter 6.6cm x Height 9.4cm\n\nTakashi Soga was born in Tokyo in 1984.
