{"product_id":"p3133","title":"Bizen ware tobikuchi small jar","description":"This is a Bizen \"tobiguchi\" (kite-beak) small jar by Yoshinobu Morimoto, an artist with a superior aesthetic sense who continues to evolve in his work with clay, firing, and craftsmanship. The piece achieves a magnificent balance between practicality and allure, as the refined, wabi-sabi atmosphere of antique Bizen is perfectly captured in a convenient, easy-to-use sake server. The matte brown clay body, featuring striking red \"nuke\" highlights created by Morimoto's skillful kiln firing, is superb; its understated, non-glossy surface is adorned with fine-grained \"goma\" (ash glaze), creating an aesthetic of pure wabi-sabi. Modeled after antique tobiguchi jars, it is also a delight to display as a standalone piece.\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san style)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 9.8cm × Diameter 9.7cm × Height 10.1cm\n\nYoshinobu Morimoto was born in Okayama Prefecture in 1976.
