{"product_id":"p3149","title":"Bizen-yaki sake cup","description":"This Bizen choko (sake cup) is by Yoshinobu Morimoto, an artist with an exceptional aesthetic sense who continues to evolve in his work with clay, firing, and craftsmanship. It is slightly smaller than a standard sakazuki, giving it an elegant appearance. By combining not only strong firing effects but also subtle kiln changes (yohen) and a gentle, natural clay quality, the piece is imbued with a rich landscape of kiln-altered surfaces that promise a delightful patina with continued use. Amidst the calm sesame-glaze (goma) scenery, a wispy, smoke-like scarlet hue emerges, revealing a calculated, intricate beauty hidden within what appears, at first glance, to be a simple, rustic aesthetic.\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.3cm × Diameter 5.8cm × Height 4.0cm\n\nYoshinobu Morimoto was born in Okayama Prefecture in 1976.
