{"product_id":"p3179","title":"Bizen sake bottle","description":"This is an earlier work of Bizen sake flask by Mr. Tsuneo Osawa, who became a Bizen ware artist out of his love for ancient Bizen (Ko-Bizen) and continues to be energetically active. The piece features the earthy texture that highlights the strong red coloration, which is Mr. Osawa's specialty, combined with a dry, refined sesame ash glaze. The overall piece has a matte finish, and its simple, weathered aesthetic aimed at emulating ancient Bizen is superb. It is a slightly small sake flask, perfect for enjoying a slow drink while savoring the pleasure of its use. (Please note that while this is an earlier work, there are almost no signs of use.)\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san) included. *The ceramic resume was not originally included.\u003cbr\u003e\nRim 3.8cm × Body diameter 8.8cm × Diameter 8.8cm × Height 12.7cm Capacity: Approx. 250cc\n\nMr. Tsuneo Osawa aspired to become a Bizen ware artist out of a desire to express the presence of ancient Bizen in the modern day, and he learned ceramic techniques under Mr. Taisetsu Sueishi in 1982. In 1997, he built an anagama (tunnel kiln) and named his studio Koshin-gama. He creates tea ceramics, sake vessels, and tableware using hand-coiling and wheel-finishing techniques. Pursuing the style of ancient Bizen, his work is characterized by its simple, powerful, and natural earthen texture. He is committed to thoroughly executing each step—from shaping that brings out the unique characteristics of the clay to kiln loading and firing. He was selected for the Ceramic Art Biennale, the Prefectural Exhibition, and the Issuikai Ceramic Art Exhibition in 1989. He has held solo exhibitions in Tokyo and Okayama.","brand":"大澤恒夫","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618528841825,"sku":"3179","price":8000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/3179.jpg?v=1790237438","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p3179","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
