{"product_id":"p3250","title":"Bizen ware flower vase","description":"This is a new Bizen pottery flower vase by Masao Akiya, an artist who studied under Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and creates works overflowing with his own originality while embracing a fresh spirit. It is the perfect size for a single-flower arrangement, and despite its small stature, its impactful form would look great on a tabletop or desk. The charming shape, based on a water pitcher, is packed with Akiya’s signature ideas—a truly delightful piece featuring linear patterns that emphasize the rustic texture of the clay and a unique, jagged \"chigiri\" rim design. The finish is also fascinating, with a brilliant scarlet base characteristic of a wood-fired kiln, where wrinkles in the clay and amber-colored kiln effects blend beautifully.\n\nSigned wooden box (double-slat lid)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 12.6cm (including rim) × 9.7cm × Height 9.0cm\n\nMasao Akiya was born in Saitama in 1968.
