{"product_id":"p3298","title":"Baijiu drinker","description":"This is a freshly kiln-fired white sake cup by Koichiro Isezaki, who was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki and has breathed new life into the Bizen ware world through his exceptional sense and masterful modeling skills. Created without the use of any glazes, this piece features special white clay from Ibe that has been high-fired, resulting in even the \"goma\" (ash glaze) appearing white. The goma around the waist has taken on a unique, cloudy white hue reminiscent of Karatsu straw-ash glaze, while the surrounding clay texture appears as if it has been coated with a transparent glaze—this alone demonstrates the sensitivity of white clay to ash. The interior, by contrast, reveals a dry, sandy clay texture, showing another facet of this white clay where no ash has fallen.\n\nSigned wooden box to follow at a later date (please allow some time for delivery)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 8.3cm × Diameter 8.0cm × Height 6.0cm\n\nKoichiro Isezaki was born as the eldest son of Living National Treasure Jun Isezaki. The Isezaki family is a prestigious lineage of Bizen ware; his grandfather was the Intangible Cultural Property holder Yozan Isezaki, and his uncle was Mitsuru Isezaki, also an Intangible Cultural Property holder. Koichiro pursued ceramics from an early age. After graduating from the Department of Sculpture at Tokyo Zokei University in 1994, he studied abroad in the United States. He spent approximately two years learning ceramics under Jeff Shapiro, a potter based in New York City, which greatly broadened his perspective on art and ceramics. After returning to Japan in 2000, he trained under his father alongside his father's disciples. He first submitted a piece to the Tanabe Museum of Art Tea Ceremony Exhibition in 2002, where it was selected for the first time.","brand":"伊勢崎晃一朗","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618532741217,"sku":"3298","price":18000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/3298.jpg?v=1790237609","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p3298","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
