{"product_id":"p3331","title":"Bizen sake bottle","description":"This is a new Bizen sake bottle by Yoshiteru Koriki, a popular young ceramic artist who was an apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. Created using mountain clay (yamatsuchi), this piece offers a refined aesthetic reminiscent of Nanban-style unglazed stoneware, distinct from the characteristics of field clay (tatsuchi). The red hue of the clay itself manifests in a way that differs from the softer scarlet tones of typical firing, harmonizing with the coarse, matte texture to create a rustic and wild appearance characteristic of mountain clay. While the piece is fired thoroughly throughout, the matte-textured sesame glaze and ash deposits serve as subtle accents, casting shadows across the clay surface that accentuate its inherent redness.\n\nSigned wooden box to follow (please allow some time for delivery).\u003cbr\u003e\nMouth rim 4.8cm × Body diameter 9.7cm × Body diameter 9.6cm × Height 15.0cm; Capacity 400cc\n\nYoshiteru Koriki was born in Ako, Hyogo Prefecture.
