{"product_id":"p3419","title":"Bizen tea cup","description":"This Bizen teacup is by Takashi Soga, an artist who challenges the beauty of antiquity by recreating the same conditions in which old Bizen ware was fired. The piece features a unique finish, with a faint black *hidasuki* (fire cord) pattern over a strongly reddish clay body. Its rugged construction perfectly complements the old Bizen-style firing. The rich, dense texture of the clay, a hallmark of Soga's meticulous attention to the quality of his materials, provides a tactile pleasure that will make you want to keep holding it whenever you use it.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.7cm × 7.4cm × Height 9.0cm\n\nTakashi Soga was born in Tokyo in 1984.
