{"product_id":"p3460","title":"Colored Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This is a new colored Bizen sake cup by Yasuhito Abe, an artist who possesses deep insight and an aesthetic sense for antique ceramics, creating one-of-a-kind works through his unique research and firing techniques. The soft white reminiscent of light snow is combined with a pale wisteria color that expresses a world of falling fresh snow and a tranquil, overcast sky, unveiling a new world of Mt. Fuji in a snowy landscape. The gold and red border evokes a picture frame, capturing the serene world of the snowy Mt. Fuji and elevating it to a more profound place. Following his Oribe exhibition, Abe’s signature firing technique has evolved even further; the exquisite Bizen texture, which feels as tempered as steel yet retains a melting grace, is truly magnificent.\n\nSigned paulownia box to follow (please allow some time for shipping).\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.0cm × Diameter 6.5cm × Height 6.2cm\n\nYasuhito Abe was originally a Western-style painter. He began collecting ceramics as a hobby, but finding contemporary Bizen ware lacking, he started creating his own pottery in 1972 to produce work that satisfied him. He frequently creates water jars, flower vases, flattened jars, bowls, sake bottles, and sake cups, all wheel-thrown and finished with a spatula. His pottery is rooted in the ancient Bizen ware of the Momoyama period, with a meticulous focus on the firing process. He is also engaged in diverse creative activities, presenting works (mixed media) that combine various materials and techniques such as ceramics, lacquer, oil painting, and bronze. He holds solo exhibitions energetically both in Japan and abroad, including in Tokyo, Osaka, New York, and Paris.","brand":"安倍安人","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618537787489,"sku":"3460","price":130000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/3460.jpg?v=1790237816","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p3460","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
