{"product_id":"p3466","title":"Bizen sake cup","description":"This is a Bizen sake cup by Michiaki Kaneshige, the eldest son of the legendary Toyo Kaneshige, who captivated audiences with a style that infused tradition with his own unique sensibility. This piece, created during his relatively younger years, displays his characteristic style within its powerful wheel-thrown form. In particular, the precisely carved foot resembles that of his father, Toyo Kaneshige, in his final years, conveying Michiaki’s earnest and sincere character. The interior features elegant yellow *goma* (sesame) glaze, which should make for a beautiful presentation when filled with sake.
