{"product_id":"p3619","title":"Bizen Beer Drinker","description":"This Bizen teacup is by Tamon Kaneshige, who continues to hone his craft on the rigorous path of pottery, following in the footsteps of his father, the late Susumu Kaneshige. The piece is finished using a relatively coarse clay with a high sand content, even for high-quality Bizen clay. It has been fired slowly in a high-heat area, resulting in a generous layer of matte, scorched black sesame ash glaze layered over a glossy sesame glaze. The interior is also well-coated with black sesame ash, which coexists beautifully with the lovely shiso-red hue without masking the natural character of the clay.\n\nSigned wooden box (double-crosspiece lid)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.7cm × Diameter 7.4cm × Height 10.5cm\n\nYoshiteru Koriki was born in Ako City, Hyogo Prefecture.
