{"product_id":"p3660","title":"Bizen Hai-kaburi sake cup","description":"This is a Bizen ash-covered sake cup from Yoshinobu Morimoto's new exhibition. Utilizing the sensibilities he has honed while challenging himself with the input and output of ancient Bizen pottery, he has created a dynamic form that evokes a free-spirited and bold style. True to Morimoto's approach of challenging the masterpieces of ancient ceramics, the piece features a powerful form that feels like a miniaturized tea bowl. The intensity of the firing, characteristic of the ash-covered series, remains intact, with an elegant ash-covered finish centered around a magnificent \"nuke\" (uncovered area).\n\nSigned wooden box (shiho-san) included\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.9cm × 6.6cm × Height 6.1cm\n\nYoshinobu Morimoto was born in Okayama Prefecture in 1976.
