p3717
Hidasuki teacup
This is a Hidasuki yunomi (tea cup) from Yoshinobu Morimoto's new exhibition. Utilizing the sensibilities he has honed through his ongoing study of ancient Bizen ware, he has created a form full of dynamic energy that conveys a free and spirited character. The intense Hidasuki scenery, achieved through a specially prepared clay, appears to emerge from the surface as if it were fluorescent. You can enjoy tea at a leisurely pace while admiring and nurturing the elegant, aromatic quality of the Hidasuki.

Paper box
Diameter 9.2cm × 8.8cm × Height 7.6cm

About Yoshinobu Morimoto's New Exhibition

Yoshinobu Morimoto was born in Okayama Prefecture in 1976.
