{"product_id":"p3738","title":"Oribe ware spout-rimmed vessel","description":"This is an Orihi (Oribe-Bizen) bird-beak pourer by Koji Nakahara, a creator who studied under Fumio Kawabata and aims to craft pieces that suit modern life. This work uses the \"Orihi\" technique, combining the stain resistance and usability of Oribe glazing with the character and evolving aesthetic of Bizen clay. Named \"Toriguchi\" (bird's beak), this piece features a bold design reminiscent of a bird's bill, offering both excellent pouring functionality and a curiously endearing quality, much like a bird perched in the hand. The same section is carved with a lattice pattern—resembling bird feathers—that appears to emerge from the Oribe glaze, showcasing Nakahara’s unique artistic sense.\n\nPaper box\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 11.3cm × Diameter 9.7cm × Height 8.8cm\n\nKoji Nakahara was born in Osaka Prefecture in 1978.
