{"product_id":"p3843","title":"Ibe Yohen Sake Cup","description":"This is a Bizen *yohen* (kiln-transmuted) sake cup by Iwao Kaneshige, who was born and raised in the prestigious Kaneshige family and continues to work diligently at the kiln that has fired pottery for generations, starting with the great Toyo Kaneshige and Michiaki Kaneshige. It is a new style of \"yohen\"—simple, quiet, and serene—that overflows with the characteristic style of Iwao Kaneshige, who dislikes flashy stunts or artificial *goma* (ash glaze) effects. By avoiding anything extravagant and focusing primarily on the texture of the clay, its raw, exposed surface, which allows one to enjoy its soft feel, is its sole and greatest feature. It is finished with a playful, clog-like *warikodai* (split foot). The clay body, which has taken on a deep shiso-purple hue and is mixed with slightly coarse stones, has a truly profound character. (*Please note in advance that there is some wobbling.*)\n\nSigned wooden box (with two-way cross-piece lid)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.9cm x Diameter 6.6cm x Height 6.7cm\n\nIwao Kaneshige is the eldest son of Michiaki Kaneshige. Born and raised in a family of Bizen pottery artists, he chose the path of a potter out of his own love for the craft. After honing his techniques under the guidance of the Kaneshige family, he became independent in 1995 and held his first solo exhibition at a gallery in Okayama. He exhibited at the Kaneshige Family Exhibitions in 1999 and 2001.","brand":"金重 巖","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46618554630241,"sku":"3843","price":25000.0,"currency_code":"JPY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/9916\/8865\/files\/3843.jpg?v=1790238304","url":"https:\/\/tourakuen.myshopify.com\/en\/products\/p3843","provider":"川口陶楽苑","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
