{"product_id":"p4055","title":"Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This is a new Bizen sake cup by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Kōriki, an apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. Fired in the spring of 2016, this latest piece is a brilliantly baked sake cup from what was clearly a highly successful firing. It achieves a high-level harmony between the quality of the clay and the firing, and when combined with the relaxed foot and orthodox form, it results in a piece of Kōriki Bizen that is deep and profound, yet perfect for everyday use without hesitation. This work is characterized by a deep, black ash-glaze that looks like splashed ink, creating an exceptional contrast with the gentle clay texture on the inside and the front. (Please note in advance that there is a stone inclusion on the rim.)\n\nOriginal signed wooden box to follow (please allow some time for delivery)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.0cm x Diameter 6.8cm x Height 5.3cm\n\nYoshiteru Kōriki was born in Akō City, Hyogo Prefecture.
