{"product_id":"p4062","title":"Bizen black tea bowl","description":"This is an exquisite new Bizen black tea bowl by Takashi Baba, a master who was born in Inbe, has loved Bizen ware since childhood, and finds his life's joy in creating works and firing kilns. This rare piece miraculously survived unscathed despite being fired to the absolute limit, with no regard for the risks of damage or fusion. Its thoroughly scorched surface features black kiln-change colors, with vibrant cobalt blue and emerald green hues reminiscent of salt glaze. The view on the back is nothing short of magnificent, with a clear distinction between the whitened sesame glaze and the bluish-black ash covering, creating a stylish monotone that perfectly complements its ambitious form. The challenging, unique carving technique is also captivating, and the fluid, masterful cuts are so absorbing that one loses track of time while admiring them.\n\nSigned wooden box to follow (please allow some time for delivery)\u003cbr\u003e\n12.8cm diameter × 12.6cm diameter × 8.8cm height\n\nTakashi Baba was born in 1983 as the eldest son of Bizen ware artist Shosuke Baba.
