{"product_id":"p4200","title":"Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This is a Bizen sake cup by Living National Treasure Yu Fujiwara, an artist who expanded his vision beyond Japan to share the appeal of Bizen ware with the world. The style is instantly recognizable as his own, a work that feels as though it strikes at you with a naked heart, devoid of mere superficial technique. The deep green \"kase-goma\" (dry sesame glaze) transitions into a light blue, creating a refreshing color palette characteristic of Fujiwara, whose skill with kase-goma is highly acclaimed. The \"botamochi\" mark inside the cup, a signature element of his work, also reveals a faint crimson hue, making this a masterpiece with an exquisite overall balance.\n\nOriginal signed wooden box (shiho-zan)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 6.7cm × Diameter 6.4cm × Height 6.1cm\n\nYu Fujiwara (1932–2001, born in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture) was the eldest son of Living National Treasure Kei Fujiwara.
