{"product_id":"p4383","title":"Bizen Sake Cup","description":"This Bizen sake cup is by Yoshinobu Morimoto, an artist with an exceptional aesthetic sense who continues to evolve in his handling of clay, firing techniques, and craftsmanship. He has brilliantly mastered the expression of wabi-sabi focused on the earthy qualities inherent in old Bizen ware, resulting in a piece brimming with character that seems to speak to the viewer. Its soft, brownish surface resembles melting chocolate, exuding an indescribable and exquisite charm characteristic of pottery created by a true lover of the craft. Natural ash glaze, as if smoked by fire, is spread evenly across the entire piece, giving the smoky, wet-looking \"sesame\" glaze a melt-in-your-mouth quality. The form, a compact take on a tea bowl, is the perfect, quintessential size for a Bizen sake cup, fitting snugly in the palm of your hand.\n\nOriginal signed box (shiho-zan)\u003cbr\u003e\nDiameter 7.0cm x Diameter 6.8cm x Height 5.5cm\n\nYoshinobu Morimoto was born in Okayama Prefecture in 1976.
