{"product_id":"p4466","title":"Bizen yohen sake bottle","description":"This is a newly fired Bizen yohen sake bottle by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Koriki, an apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. This latest work, pulled from the kiln in January 2017, represents a new direction in his yohen (kiln-change) technique. Created using the \"kabuse-yaki\" (covered firing) method, where a sake cup is placed over the rim during firing, this bottle brings a fresh sensibility not seen in Koriki's previous works. By eliminating the scarlet \"nuke\" pattern typically found on the body and focusing the kiln-change on the rim, the scarlet neck takes on a rich, supple texture that exudes a refined character. The scarlet neck absorbs the drops of sake after pouring, enhancing its allure and making the drinking experience even more enjoyable. The crisp, dark silver ash-covered yohen is also magnificent, creating a brilliant contrast with the supple, sweet-textured clay.\n\nSigned paulownia box to follow (please allow some time for delivery).\u003cbr\u003e\nRim 3.4cm × Body diameter 8.5cm × Body diameter 8.3cm × Height 14.2cm.
